Globetrotter
Though I was born in New Zealand, my family relocated to England when I was four. At ten we moved off to Switzerland and there I developed an enduring love for mountains and lakes and glorious scenery. Joking at home here I say that I have never met a mountain that I did not love and they are all referred to as "my mountains". Late teens back to London to finish school and study architecture. Had the most wonderful silversmith as my silver jewellery tutor at Evening Class and so then I spent all my spare time making pieces for me and close friends. As well as embroidering, rug-hooking, making clothes and collecting velvet squares for patchwork as well as tinkering with my motor-bike. Then it was time for another change and I left husband, London, England and my little black cat behind, flying off into the rising sun and landing in Sydney, Australia. That was quite a few years ago and now Queanbeyan is my home. I have lived here longer than anywhere else. Here is my real family; husband, three children and two cats. Funny how life turns out and where it takes you.
